How to fit and remove the Supreme Wheel Clamp. The manufacturer suggests only use method two if there is not much space between the outside edge of the Wheel and the bottom edge of the Wheel Arch. Use the method that is the easiest for you and your Vehicle.

The Supreme Wheel Clamp includes the patented Steel Shroud. Before it can be used for the first time the supplied High Tensile Chain has to be cut to the exact length required to fit the Wheel it is going to protect. See a picture of the Supreme fitted in step 6 below. |
NB: If you do not have time to cut the High Tensile Chain to length to enable the use of the patented Steel Shroud you can use the supplied Abus Padlock to lock the Supreme Wheel Clamp. Follow step 1 to step 5 and then place the Abus Padlock through both sides of the High Tensile Chain and lock it.
How to measure and cut the High Tensile Chain to fit your Wheel.
| 1. | Follow step 1 to step 4 below but instead of centralizing the High Tensile Chain as seen in the picture of step 5 line the left side of the Chain with the centre of the Steel Shield and pull the excess Chain to the right side. See picture on the right. | ![]() |
| 2. | As per the picture on the right place one side of the padlock's shackle through the last link on the left. Then place the other side of the Shackle through a link on the right side of the High Tensile Chain. With both hands grip the Chain on either side of the Abus Padlock and pull any slack out of the High Tensile Chain and if necessary adjust the padlock's shackle on the right side to ensure the Steel Shield is a tight as possible to the Wheel. | |
| 3. | Mark the second link below the padlock's shackle with a felt pen, chalk or similar, see picture on the right. Remove the High Tensile Chain from the Wheel and cut the marked link with an angle grinder. NB: Most people will know someone who owns an angle grinder. | |
| 4. | Once cut start from step 1 to fit the Supreme Wheel Clamp to the Wheel. When fitted if the High Tensile Chain is a bit loose cut another link off. NB: When locked we recommend you ensure the High Tensile Chain is as tight as possible. Due to the overall design if the High Tensile Chain is a little slack it is ok. |
| Fit to a Wheel in about one minute. |

| Stand the Steel Shield in front of the Wheel. | Place the High Tensile Chain through the two top holes in the Steel Shield. |
| NB: Step 2 - We suggest to save you a few seconds while fitting place a piece of coloured tape or twist a short piece of wire around the middle link of the High Tensile Chain. This will enable you to quickly centralize the High Tensile Chain in the centre of the Steel Shield. | |

| Pass the High Tensile Chain over and under the vehicle's springs or tubular frame on the left side. | As per Step 3 repeat the same procedure on the right side. |
| Step 5 | Step 6 |

| Pick up the end of the High Tensile Chain on the left and pass it through the bottom left side hole in the Steel Shield. Repeat the same on the right side. |
Place the ends of the High Tensile Chain in the slot on either side of the Steel Shroud, place the padlock's shackle through the top of the Steel Shroud, place the Padlock body through the bottom of the Steel Shroud and lock it. |
| Please Note: The Abus Padlock requires the Key to be inserted in the Padlock to physically lock the Abus Padlock and the Padlock body has to be placed the correct way for it to lock. Place the edge of the Padlock that has a small pin hole to the short side of the padlock's shackle. It is that simple and extremely secure. Once you have fitted the Supreme Wheel Clamp with the patented Steel Shroud a few times you will find it very easy and quick to fit. |
|
| Remove from a Wheel in about 20 seconds. |

| Remove the Padlock and Steel Shroud. | Remove the High Tensile Chain from the two bottom holes in the Steel Shield and from around the vehicle's springs or tubular frame. That's it... |
| Please Note: To save you time when fitting the Supreme Wheel Clamp to the Wheel leave the High Tensile Chain through the two top holes. We Suggest: As the whole system weighs Supreme 11kg leave both ends of the High Tensile Chain through the two top holes in the Steel Shield. Lock the Padlock and the Steel Shroud to both the ends of the High Tensile Chain. Then lift the Steel Shield with one hand and with the other hand gather up the High Tensile Chain. Then take the Steel Shield, High Tensile Chain, Padlock and Steel Shroud to where you are going to keep them when it is not protecting your towable or drivable Vehicle. This method ensures all components are kept together. |
