How to fit and remove the Protector or Enforcer Wheel Clamp. This is the manufacturers preferred method. If there is not much space between the outside edge of the Wheel and the bottom edge of the Wheel Arch then try method two, see link below. Use the method that is the easiest for you and your Vehicle.

| Stand the Steel Shield in front of the Wheel. | Place the Chain through the two bottom holes in the Steel Shield. |
| NB: Step 2 - We suggest to save you a few seconds while fitting place a piece of coloured tape or twist a short piece of wire around the middle link of the Chain. This will enable you to quickly centralize the Chain in the centre of the Steel Shield. | |
| Step 3 | Step 4 |

| Pass the Chain under and over the vehicle's springs or tubular frame on the left side. | As per Step 3 repeat the same procedure on the right side. |
| Step 5 | Step 6 |

| Pick up the end of the Chain on the left and pass it through the top left side hole in the Steel Shield. Repeat the same on the right side. |
Grip both ends of the Chain and pull to make the Chain taut. Then place the supplied Padlock through a link on either side of the Chain as close to the Steel Shield as possible. It is that simple... But extremely secure. |
| NB: Step 6 - We recommend you try to ensure the Chain is as tight as possible before locking the Padlock. Due to the overall design if the Chain is a little slack it is ok. Please Note: Once you have fitted the Wheel Clamp a few times you will find your own method to keep the Chain tight before locking the Padlock. |

| Remove from a Wheel in about 20 seconds. |

| Remove the Padlock. | Remove the Chain from the two top holes in the Steel Shield and from around the vehicle's springs or tubular frame. That's it... |
| Please Note: To save you time when fitting the Wheel Clamp to the Wheel leave the Chain through the two bottom holes. We Suggest: As the whole system weighs Protector 8kg or Enforcer 10.5kg leave both ends of the Chain through the two bottom holes in the Steel Shield. Lock the Padlock to both ends of the Chain. Then lift the Steel Shield with one hand and with the other hand gather up the Chain. Then take the Steel Shield, Chain and Padlock to where you are going to keep them when it is not protecting your towable or drivable Vehicle. This method ensures all components are kept together. |
